Welcome to ennepō. These Terms of Service govern your use of our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ennepō ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ennepō transforms academic papers into audio lectures using artificial intelligence. The Service allows users to upload PDF documents or provide URLs to academic papers, which are then processed to generate audio content.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not upload content you do not have the right to use, attempt to reverse engineer the Service, or use it to generate misleading or harmful content.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any academic papers you upload. ennepō retains ownership of the audio lectures generated, but grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to use them for educational purposes.
6. User Content
By uploading papers, you grant ennepō a limited license to process them for the purpose of generating audio lectures. Papers uploaded from open-access sources may be used to create lectures shared in the Circulating feed.
7. Subscription & Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
8. Privacy & Data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described therein.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ennepō is not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content. Users should verify information against original sources for academic or professional use.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ennepō shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece.
